Granny Square Update 1

Well not had a lot of time this weekend but have managed to get 15 squares done,  I have decided now though that i want to edge then with a double crochet row all in the same colour to prepare for sewing up.

I have been working out a couple of figures for the sizing, I want the the throw to be 12 x 12 squares so at the moment that means still 129 to go.  I may decide to change the size yet but will see how I go.

As far as time is concerned it takes a steady 20 mins per square if  I am watching TV so if I have worked it out right that is 48 hours of work and of course that does not include the edging and sewing in of ends (not my favourite bit).

Back to Basics, Granny Square Heaven

Back again, found some fab wool at my friend Julies' shop (JB-Crafting Supples).  It was the colours' more than anything than attracted me.  I have used King Coles' Cotton Soft before so I knew that the quality was there.

It is not very often I get to create for myself or my home, it is usually for classes or publications, but this time its all mine.

I am going to keep it simple and go back to the basics, a granny square throw for my living room.  Those of you who know me maybe smiling at the moment as I have a reputation for never finishing projects for myself, but no! I will complete and to make me do it I am going to be posting my progress on here.  Please don't forget to leave your comments though as it might keep me going. ;o) xx

Decopatch bunny completed at last.  Thought it would be next Easter not this the way i have been going recently.  I am pleased although on the picture he does look a bit dark.  xx
